Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory begins to provide Pokenyu (Pocket Nutrition), a cloud service that helps professionals involved in home medical care identify and solve dietary and nutritional issues for home medical care patients

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory, Inc. (Head Office: Naruto, Tokushima, Japan; President and Representative Director: Shinichi Ogasawara; "OPF") will launch a cloud service called Pokenyu (Pocket Nutrition) in mid-July 2022 to help identify and solve dietary and nutritional issues for professionals engaged in home medical care. Prior to the launch of this service, today we released the Pokenyu Mini (Pocket Nutrition Mini), where you can experience the brand website and some functions of this service for free.

This service is equipped with a "Dietary and Nutrition Assessment Function" to organize dietary habits and nutritional conditions of home medical care patients, an "Assessment Result Sharing Function" to support information sharing among various occupations, a "Presentation Function of a List of Problems and Solutions for Dietary and Nutrition Issues" to list approximately 100 items as common causes of dietary and nutritional problems, which provide examples of the solutions, and a "Monitoring Function" to store the assessment results for each patient to enable the consideration of appropriate care after understanding the changes over time of the patient. We expect that this service will be of use for the nutritional care provided by professionals who support home medical care patients.

At the Pokenyu Mini (Pocket Nutrition Mini), which was released today, you can experience the "Dietary and Nutrition Assessment Function" and the "Assessment Result Sharing Function" for free. All the functions can be used in the paid service.

By making effective use of this service, we hope to realize the support for "nutrition and diet" that meets the expectations of home medical care patients.
