Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory concludes a comprehensive collaborative agreement with Imizu City, Toyama

Otsuka pharmaceutical Factory Inc. (Head Office: Naruto, Tokushima, Japan; President and Representative Director: Shinichi Ogasawara) concluded a comprehensive collaborative agreement with Imizu City (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") on October 19.

The main objectives of this Agreement are to promote activities in cooperation between Imizu City and Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory on the following matters in order to further improve services to the citizens of Imizu, to achieve healthy living, and to revitalize the community through sports promotion.

(1) Extension of healthy life expectancy and food education

(2) Heatstroke prevention measures

(3) Sports promotion

(4) Efforts using Football Center

(5) Support for an enhanced collaboration system for medical and nursing care

(6) Disaster prevention and preparedness

(7) Other necessary matters for the achievement of the purpose of this Agreement

As a leading company of IV solutions, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory has contributed to medical care through a product lineup mainly of clinical nutrition products, ranging from prevention to hospital medical care, rehabilitation, and home medical/nursing care, and by communicating detailed information. As the direction we should address in a super-aging society, we will further promote collaboration with local governments in order to contribute to efforts in the medical and nursing fields, such as health promotion of citizens and building and operating a community-based integrated care system by using our expertise. This is the fourth collaborative agreement that the company has concluded with a local government for this purpose, following Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture in May 2019, Kushiro City, Hokkaido in February of this year, and Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture in September.
